Swimming collage

I have been swimming all my life. Before I could walk I was in the pool. Since I have a disability my parents and the doctors thought that the water would benefit my legs and arms so that they would become stronger. They didn’t know at the time they swimming would mean so much to me. I have been all around the country traveling for swim meets and meeting new swimmers and coaches along the way. Swimming has shaped me in the person I am today. I don’t know what I would do without it. When I’m in the water I don’t feel that I’m different than anyone or that I’m weaker than them. When I’m in the water it is just me in the pool, having fun in the water. Swimming means so much to me and it has made me into the person I am today. I don’t think I will ever stop swimming or hate it either because without it I would be a whole different person.
